Why we do it…

Gumtree & Grove Culinary Co. was founded by Australian Chef Sam Taylor to reconnect people to the beauty of real food- fresh, flavourful, seasonal, and thoughtfully sourced. After years of cooking professionally for modern Australian and fine dining Italian restaurants and cafes, sourcing personal and professional ingredients directly from produce markets, bakeries, fish mongers, and butchers, Chef Sam returned to the U.S. and noticed a disconnect: quality and flavour were too often overlooked. Driven by curiosity and passion, Sam travelled across the East Coast, Mid West, and South West with her travel trailer full-time, getting to know locals, uncovering overlooked regional foods and forgotten traditions. Returning to the sunshine state of Florida, Chef Sam uses her over a decades worth of professional culinary and hospitality experience to share that journey to your table, offering elevated, ingredient focussed dining that blends her modern Australian roots and fine dining Italian training to her passion and love for her chosen home, Florida U.S.A.
